What are the different ways in which I can find a holiday house?
You have 4 different ways available to you for finding the house that best responds to your needs:
A map search: by selecting the nation, region, and possibly the area and by indicating your holiday dates, the number of people and by filling in the selection criteria available to you, such as a swimming pool, independent house or apartment, weekly price, etc., you can obtain a list of the houses which responds to your requests.
A search through our selections: just click on one of the proposed sections to enter a search screen where you can indicate the other possible selection criteria.
Search by name or by house code: if you know the house’s name or its reference code you can directly access the relative presentation page.
Using the paper catalogue: by clicking on the section entitled “catalogues” you can request a copy of the catalogue(s) that most interest you. Once you have chosen the house for your next holiday you can return to the website, or you can contact us by telephone.Top
How are the search results proposed?
Once you have launched your search with your desired selection criteria you will obtain a list of houses as a result. This list is a synthetic representation of the search results and presents a small photo, the name of the house, its geographic location, the sleeping spaces and the symbols that summarize some of the house’s main characteristics (independent house, swimming pool, if pets are allowed). This list can be ordered by sleeping spaces or by price. You will notice that houses with a capacity higher than what you have requested will also be included in the search results.
How to read the indicated number of sleeping spaces: the first number indicates the beds available in bedrooms. The difference between the first and the second number indicates the number of additional sleeping spaces, on sofa beds or extra beds.
If you launch a booking search and you do not obtain a list, we suggest that you repeat the search with different selection criteria.Top
Once I have chosen a holiday house, how do I book it?
From the description page of the house selected, which you have accessed after having carried out a search, all you need to do is click on “Book this house”. You will access a guided path which will allow you to insert your personal data, you will have the possibility to check them and choose one of the following booking methods:
book online - to book in real time you will need to have your credit card on hand; once you have chosen this path you will directly access the Banca Stella website from our website, where you can finalize the payment of the requested balance;
contact us - to be contacted by one of our consultants who will tell you how to carry out the booking and, if you wish you can finalize the payment using other methods.
The Cuendet website adopts the cryptation of sensitive data using VeriSign.
At any moment you can abandon the online booking phase without incurring any penalties.Top
What do I receive upon confirming my booking?
If you book online, once the booking is recorded, a confirmation message will appear on the screen and an email with all of the information concerning your booking will follow.
The confirmation of the Banca Stella transaction will also appear on the screen and you will then receive another confirmation from Banca Stella by email.
By post you will also receive the booking confirmation with all of the details concerning the house booked.
If instead you have chosen to contact one of our operators, a message confirming your request will appear on the screen and an email with a summary of your request will follow. At this point you will have to wait to be contacted by one of our operators (or if you wish to do so, you can contact us directly) who will tell you how to proceed in finalizing your request.Top
How can I know where I am?
On the Cuendet website you will find a bar relative to your navigation path which will indicate your position in relation to the request made and you can use it to go back, without having to repeat the request from the beginning every time you do so.Top
Is it possible to book a house for a short period of time?
All you need to do is click on the “short breaks” section to access a search for a house for a period shorter than a week. Once you have chosen the house, you can send a booking request (for short holidays the booking cannot be confirmed online) and one of our operators will contact you to reconfirm the availability of the house or to offer you other possibilities.Top

To facilitate the reading of the description of each house we use symbols that describe the house’s main characteristics. In fact, in each descriptive card you will find all of the symbols relative to the house next to its description; to allow you to understand this symbols you will notice that by passing over each one with the mouse a brief description will appear; for a more precise explanation you can consult the link “how to read the symbols”.Top

When is arrival expected ? And departure?
Unless otherwise indicated, which you will find by consulting the description of the house, the day of arrival and departure is Saturday.
TIME OF ARRIVAL
In Italy and Croatia between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Greece between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.; France, Spain, Portugal between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
For arrivals in France, Spain and Portugal you will need to communicate your exact time of arrival. In absence of this, the owner or his/her representative will expect you to arrive at 6.30 p.m.
TIME OF DEPARTURE
Departure of all of the destinations is expected between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
If you are late you can contact the owner, the keyholder or our client services which is at your disposal also on Saturday (from Easter to October) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. You will receive all of the information concerning this matter together with your booking voucher which will be sent to you before departing.Top
When will I receive the papers for the trip?
Upon receiving the payment relative to your booking (the conditions are indicated in the “general letting conditions” which you can find on the presentation page of each house), you will be sent a “booking voucher” which will include routing instructions for reaching the house; in this document you will also find the address of the house, the owner’s or his/her representative’s telephone number as well as the telephone number of our client assistance service.Top
Is linen included?
If not otherwise indicated in the description of the house, in the booked house you will find bed linen, bath and kitchen linen for the maximum number of people allowed in the house. Towels for the swimming pool are not included.Top
Are the cleaning costs included in the price?
The booked house will be handed over to you clean and in order. Nonetheless, you will need to pay to the owner or his/her keyholder the amount of the cleaning costs (if indicated in the description of the house). This amount does not include the cleaning of the kitchen/kitchen corner/kitchenette which is your responsibility as is the removal of rubbish. Otherwise the owner or his/her representative can request additional fees. If no extra fees are requested for the cleaning costs, you are responsible for leaving the house clean and in order. If the house is not given back clean and in order, you will have to pay the cleaning costs directly to the owner or his/her representative.Top
What costs are not included in the letting price?
Any additional costs, if foreseen, are indicated in the description of the house.
A deposit will be requested of you, which to be paid in cash upon arrival. This deposit will be given back to you at the end of your stay, minus any extra fees as well as the amount to cover any damages that may have been caused to the house or the furniture.
The amount of the deposit, if foreseen, is indicated in the description of the house as well as on the “booking voucher”, which you will receive once you have paid the total balance of the booking.Top
How does the heating work?
The use of heating is usually established according to regulations that may vary from nation to nation and within the nation, from region to region. Therefore, we ask you to refer to the “general letting conditions” (which you can find on the house’s descriptive card) for a more in-depth explanation of the conditions and limitations.Top
